Mr. Malhar Soni is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon with nearly three decades of ophthalmology experience, and is dedicated to delivering exceptional, personalised eye care.
Mr. Soni received advanced ophthalmology training including medical & surgical retina fellowships at three of the world’s most prestigious institutions: Sankara Nethralaya in India, Birmingham & Midland Eye Centre and Moorfields Eye Hospital in the UK.
Mr Soni holds a substantive consultant position within the NHS. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists, among other prestigious organizations. He has presented and published extensively and is a frequent invited speaker at international conferences.
His contributions to ophthalmology have been recognized with several distinguished awards, including the American Society of Retina Specialists’ Rhett Buckler Award (2011) and Senior Honor Award (2013); and the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Achievement Award in 2020. Mr Soni was inducted as a Fellow of the American Society of Retina Specialists in 2021, recognizing his expertise in retinal disorders management and commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards.
