Dr Farshad Fakhimi is a consultant ophthalmologist with a special interest and extensive experience in anterior segment and cataract surgery. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical University of Vienna and is board certified in both Ophthalmology and General Practice. Having trained in Austria and Germany, Dr Fakhimi has performed over 40,000 cataract and refractive lens surgeries and is highly skilled in routine and complex cataract procedures, vision correction through refractive surgery, and YAG laser treatments. A Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology and a member of several leading ophthalmic societies, he is fully registered with the General Medical Council and actively involved in training fellow surgeons in cataract surgery procedures.
