Alicia Pompon is a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional with a passion for community outreach. A mother of two, she enjoys spending time outdoors and believes in the principle of treating everyone with the same respect and care she would expect for herself. Her career in healthcare began after she completed a Health and Social Care course at college. She spent seven years at a private eye health clinic, where she gained significant experience and completed an ophthalmic dispensing course. This was followed by a four-year tenure as an Ophthalmic Technician in the Eye Emergency department of a local hospital, a role she thoroughly enjoyed.
Alicia’s decision to join CHEC/Clarity was motivated by a desire to apply her extensive knowledge to make healthcare more accessible for patients within the community. In her role, she has actively engaged in community events, including “Coffee and Cake” mornings to raise funds for Going for Bust, a local breast cancer charity, and a 15,000ft sky dive to benefit Julia’s House Children’s Hospice. She has also participated in local library events and the West Sussex Sight information day.
Looking ahead, Alicia is focused on fostering strong, collaborative relationships with professional connections across Dorset, Sussex, and Kent. Her goal is to raise awareness of available resources, support professionals with effective referral and signposting practices, and collaborate on developing care pathways to meet local healthcare needs.
