Miss Sonia Mall is a highly accomplished Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon with a wealth of experience in treating a broad spectrum of eye conditions. She completed her extensive Ophthalmology Specialist training across the West Midlands and Oxford regions, honing her skills at prestigious institutions such as the Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre and Oxford Eye Hospitals. Furthering her expertise, Miss Mall undertook a Medical Retina fellowship at London’s renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital. Since qualifying as a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon in 2014, she has dedicated herself to providing exceptional eye care, performing over 10,000 cataract surgeries with consistently excellent outcomes and a complication rate significantly below the national average. She is also adept in the use of premium intraocular lens implants.
Miss Mall’s sub-specialty lies in Medical Retina and Cataract Surgery, with particular interests in Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD), Diabetic Eye Disease, and Retinal Vein Occlusions. Her proficiency extends to managing retinal and macular diseases through advanced laser and intravitreal therapies.
