Theatre Practitioner
Francesca has spent most of her nursing career has been dedicated to the operating theatre, where she gained extensive experience as a scrub nurse across multiple specialties. However, ophthalmology has always been her passion. For the past three years, she have worked as a theatre practitioner at Nuffield Hospital and Optical Express, specialising in ophthalmic surgery.
During this time, she has assisted in a wide range of procedures, including cataract surgery, laser eye surgery, natural lens replacement, vitrectomy, and oculoplastic surgery. Her hands-on experience in these procedures has deepened her expertise and reinforced her commitment to delivering exceptional surgical care.
